Established in 1979, Crabtree Farm was the result of hard work and the determination of not giving up. Dedicated to breeding beautiful buckskins, that not only had an unforgetable look, but also had personality, charisma and intelligence.
In 2001, a young buckskin colt became the star of Crabtree Farm. To him, this farm is dedicated. Simply put, "For the love of a horse", this all came to be.

Beginning in February 2008, Crabtree Farm has made the switch to purebred shetlands and show ponies. All AMHR mares have been sold, yet we are retaining our herd stallion, Sweetwater's Cash Deal and his 2007 perlino son, Crabtree Farm's Odyssey to continue our Show Pony Division. We have also aquired Jubilation's Toodles from Mr. Ed Perdue in Bailey, NC to begin our new venture with the incredible Shetland Ponies.
