Our Pony Club Pledge...
We as members of the United States Pony Club, stand for the best in sportsmanship as well as horsemanship. We shall compete for the enjoyment of the game well played and take winning or losing in stride, remembering that without good manners and good temper, sport loses its cause for being. We shall endeavor to maintain the best tradition of the ancient and noble skill of horsemanship, always treating our horses with the consideration due a partner. We shall strive at all times to uphold the high ideals of Pony Club.
From your 2009 DC!
Thank you to all my members, parents, and supporters of Central Penn PC in 2009! Our club came into 2009 with only 4 members, we are leaving 2009 behind while heading into 2010 with 16 members! Not only did CPPC pull its self together, but we had a great group of riders show off their team/club spirit at 6 different regional rallies this year.
I do have to say that while all of our teams did an excellant job this year, there is one team in particular who proved what being a team and part of CPPC is all about. That team was our D eventing tream: Natalie, Erika, Kelly, Hilary, Megan, and Emily. Emily was on a scramble team with another club in our region. Due to things out of Emily nor I's control she was not able to take part in the rally as part of her 'team' with the other clubs members. All day long the six of our girls helped and supported each other as one big team. Thank you girls, you have no idea how proud you made your families, Dan, and myself feel that day!
I am looking towards 2010 full of hope .that our club will maintain its growth and success! We have set up committees to help keep Dan and I organized, not to mention sane. Please check the officers page with contact names for particular information.
