It is impossible to have a successful event without the support of some great sponsors, supporters and vendors!
First, we would like to extend a special thank you to our corporate level supporters for this year, Meguiar's and GMP. Both were quick to support the Showdown by providing some of their excellent products as give-aways. Mequiar's sells some of the finest products available for bringing out the best in paint finishes, while GMP offers the collector outstanding museum quality die-cast reproductions of some of our favorite vehicles in 1:24 and 1:18 scale.
The International Model Car Builders' Museum supplied gift certificates for one year memberships and/or DVDs for several of the contest classes. We greatly appreciate their support of this event, as well as the considerable effort they put forth to document, preserve and perpetuate the history of the model car hobby as a whole. You can't fully appreciate what they do unless you go to their site and see how much passion goes into keeping the museum operating and growing each year! The CPMCC is please to announce that as a result of your generosity at the show, a donation will be forwarded to the museum to help with their efforts.
This year's vendors included Fantastic Plastics, Bradley's Car Collectibles, Model Man, Wheel to Wheel Hobbies, Replicas & Miniatures, Drag City Resin and several others who made sure there was no excuse for any attendee to go home with cash left in their wallet.
Thanks to everyone for your support!
