I joined PBEMFF at the end of season 5 when I took over Ipswich Town in Division 3. They finished just outside the playoffs. I then decided that in order to improve the fortunes of Ipswich and get promoted I would need to use the youth scheme through-out season 6. This saw Ipswich finish bottom but 3 youths came through with good ratings. All were sold off to improve the overall squad.
Season 7 didn't quite work out as planned and Ipswich struggled to make any impression at the top of the table. The squad was improved with some younger players so a long term plan could be brought in. There were no significant runs in the Inter Wing Cup or the FA Cup. Maybe we can improve in Season 8.
