    Oxygen sensors are your vehicles way of making sure it adds the right amount of fuel to the amount of air you have coming into your engine.  A vehicle's on-board computer uses the signal coming from these sensors to determine the air to fuel mixture.  The mixture at which your engine is designed to run at is 14.7:1.  With this controller you can control that ratio.  You will be able to adjust the signal to tell the computer your vehicle is running a "rich" fuel mixture and the computer will "lean" out the fuel mixture accordingly.
