Welcome to the homepage of Good Shepherd Lutheran Church (ELCE) located in Coventry, UK. We are a Biblical, traditional, and diverse family of Christians reaching out to the Midlands with the saving Gospel of Jesus Christ.
When We Worship
The Divine Service is celebrated at 11:00 am on Sunday mornings. Holy Communion is offered every 2nd and 4th Sunday. For Sunday school times, please contact Pastor Landgraf.
***Note: Due to roof leaks, we will be worshiping in the Chuch Hall for the time being.
What is the ELCE?
The Evangelical Lutheran Church of England is a denomination of the Christian Church. We are 'evangelical' because we believe, teach and preach the 'Good News' of salvation through faith alone in Jesus Christ. We are called 'Lutheran' in memory of Dr. Martin Luther, the first Protestant reformer, who lived in Germany from 1483-1546. Though there are now ELCE congregations in England, Scotland and Wales - our official name includes 'Church of England' because it is in London that our Synod had its first beginnings in 1896.
