The Covenant Apostolics

The Power of the First Century Message in the Twenty-first Century

Praise The Lord & God bless you, for visiting. We are Brother & Sister White from the beautiful Gulf Coast city of Mobile, Alabama. I am Pastor of "The Covenant Apostolics of Mobile", a church which I can easily say is the closest thing to the book of Acts that I have ever experienced! We are a multicultural, revival church! We are not centered around any particular building, but rather we follow the path of the early church in meeting from house to house. Don't feel sorry for us because we don't "have" a church, we are perfectly happy to "be" the church. I get calls on a regular basis from one of our Elders (by that we mean "shepherd" not "old person") telling me how the Awesome Power of God has fallen in the house meeting they were just in. This happens all across our city on most any night of the week. Once each month we rent a place big enough for all of our home groups to come together and "Shout it Out"... If you don't have the Holy Ghost let me explain... Shouting is a good thing. It basically means we worship & praise our God with all our heart, soul, mind, and strength. We call this our Jubilee Word & Worship Service.

Why are we Apostolic?... Well, simply put, because all of the church denominations "of man" were made "by man". Catholic, Baptist, Methodist, Lutheran, Pentecostal, Charismatic... the list goes on and on. The Lord only has ONE body. Every modern denomination is filled with "traditions" which actually do not resemble anything found in the original church of the Apostles. That's basically what "Apostolic" means... "like the Apostles". So, we as "Apostolics" serve God the way we do, because that's what the Apostles did... We only baptize in the saving name of Jesus, because the Apostles did... We tarry until we recieve the life changing power of the Holy Ghost speaking with unknown tongues as the Spirit gives the utterance, because the Apostles did... We lay hands on the sick and watch them recover, because the Apostles did... We send out handkerchiefs to those who we can not reach to touch with our hands, and the Power of God touches them... why?... because the Apostles did... We cast out devils, setting people free from all forms of addictions and unclean spirits, because the Apostles did... We present our bodies as a living sacrifice Holy and acceptible unto God, because the Apostles did... In other words; we "continue steadfastly in the Apostle's doctrine" and "earnestly contend for the faith which was once delivered unto the saints".

Why are we "Covenant" Apostolics?... First, let me say that I am a 5th generation Oneness Apostolic. I cut my teeth listening to Apostolic preaching. I LOVE APOSTOLIC DOCTRINE. But, let us be honest, isn’t God still restoring the church? For example... The book of Revelation gives a snap-shot of the endtime church calling it the church that "Keeps the Commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus" (Rev 14:12) Did you see that? The fully restored church has the "faith" (We Apostolics have found that faith in Acts 2:38), but where are the Apostolics who teach the "Commandments of God"?

When God revealed this to us, we were blown away by how many "New Testament" scriptures teach  to keep the Ten Commandments. At first we thought it was just a simple little issue. Everybody learned the Ten Commandments in Sunday School. How could there be any real endtime revelation in something so simple? Let me say here, please don't dismiss this as unimportant, that would be a mistake... please read on. For every verse that teaches Jesus Name baptism there must be ten verses that teach the Commandments. I believe we have overlooked it because we thought the Ten Commandments were something in the Law of Moses. But a simple word study will reveal that the "Law of Moses" was written in a book not on the two tables of stone. This is why it is called the "book of the Law". We all agree that Jesus nailed this law of Moses to the cross, because it was fulfilled and the dispensation of "law" is over. But consider this... Hasn't it been a sin to break the Ten Commandments in all dispensations? For example, In which dispensation was it ok to commit adultery? Is it ok now?... How about having more than one God? Is that ok now? Here's my point... We discovered that this tiny "Sunday School" lesson is actually the great constitution which governs both the Old & New Testaments.

Without ALL TEN COMMANDMENTS... The church has forfieted her Covenant. Let me ask you...What is the primary difference between a "Bride" and a "Harlot"?... One thing... her marriage "COVENANT". One has it, the other doesn't. Most Apostolics believe that it is the "Name" that is the difference, but notice...It is the Covenant that gives the bride her rights to the "NAME". A woman who uses the "Name" but doesn't have the "Covenant" is a liar, and the truth is not in her. (1John 2:4) It is the Covenant that affords her all the wealth of her betrothed. What a foolish woman indeed, who would be espoused to such a wealthy King as we are, and then willingly break His Covenant.

So, what's the big deal? Don't we all believe in keeping the Ten Commandments? Well, at first I would say yes, but try this... Go ask your pastor if you should keep the Ten Commandments... When he says yes, amend your question and say... even the 4th Commandment which says that the 7th Day is God's Sabbath?... You'll find out that you can get the Ten Commandments thrown out of an Apostolic church faster than out of a public school. If you press the issue you will find that your own pastor will start preaching against the Ten Commandments from the pulpit. Horror of horrors... can this be true? I will admit that it would be easier to pretend that there are really only 9 Commandments. We could just ignore God and act like it doesn't really matter... That's what most denominations do about Jesus Name Baptism... Just pretend it doesn't really matter... God doesn't really mean what He says.

Each person will have to decide for themselves. Obey Him or reject His Covenant and disobey Him. We are doing everything we can to offer this revelation to whosoever will. Please don't simply dismiss it... Take a liitle time out of your life and consider it... Don't just ask a pastor, or read a tract... Dig into it... search and see. I have had so many to tell me that they are "studying it" when really they were only "studying against it". Most, when they see that they can't disprove it, will simply become angry and stop looking at it. Those of us who have pressed on have recieved waves of revelation and blessing... We will never turn back. This Truth is meant to be carried by the only people who know the ONE GOD of the first Commandment... The Apostolics.
