Stockport County are widely regarded as having some of the Countries most loyal, vocal and fantastic fans, they always give the players and manager their full backing regardless of how the team is performing, they must be the only team in the north and possibly the south to take 800+ fans to Barnet, and completely sell out tickets at both Macclesfield Town and Accrington Stanley and now they are finally getting a reward for all of their hard work, they have been commented on by a number of players/managers, Jim Gannon, Dominic Blizzard, Martin Allen, Aidy Boothroyd, Mark Robinson, John Ruddy to name a few and also having dealt with the heartbreak of relegation, the tension of last day survival and now the eurphoric feeling of promotion for the first time in a long time, hopefully this trend will continue with County selling more season tickets than ever for the 2008/09 season.
