So the season is finally underway and we've opened our account with a stalemate in Oldham and now we'll be looking to push on, so what do you all think, good result? how will we do throughout the season, I'd love to hear from you in the Guestbook.

Welcome to a new mini section of mine called, "If only", basically I take some situations of 'oh so close' and then imagine "What if?" I will then describe the good that could have come from it, or the bad that could of come from it:

7. Stockport County 2-7 Rochdale

This was a truly embarassing defeat for everyone involved in Stockport County which didn't go down well, but had we have won this would the lads have had the motivation to set things right the season after beating the 'Dale 3 times in one season and of course one of the three was the fantastic Wembley victory.
