We believe in having fun and enjoying life and this attitude is reflected on the dance floor. That means we are not in the rush to do the ‘latest and greatest’ choosing rather to do dances that suit us. We can’t be too short of the mark though as we seem to be able to do most of the dances that are being done in other areas of
Our leader is Annie Bradbury and she has the wonderful gift of patience! She originally came from Melbourne (
Annie has been dancing since 1991 but her background is in basketball, both as player and coach, and she has a degree in Sports Administration.
Our associate teacher is Jan Wyllie but since her official retirement date we don’t see as much of her as we would like. We love it when she does come and especially when she teaches us a new dance that she has choreographed. Jan is a well known identity in Australian line dancing and is an internationally recognised Choreographer/ Instructor.
She was originally from Toowoomba Qld where, along with her partner Anneke, she ran Janneke’s
Clogging was introduced by Jan and Annie in 2006 but Annie heads the group now. It is a small group of 15-20 dancers who are dedicated to keeping clogging alive and well in
Clogging is a form of tap dance that is done in lines like line dancing. If you are interested, come along and have a look. You will be most welcome.
