We purchased our first two alpacas, Lady Cheyenne and Jose. After a few months we decided to purchase another female alpaca with cria (baby) at foot. We decided on purchasing Philosophy, a pretty little lady (who loves to talk, and talk and talk), and her cria, Cypress (who is the cutest little fella). BUT.... was this enough? Noooooooo, and then there were nine...... The ladies are now bred and we hope to have happy and healthy crias in the spring of 2009.
All in all, we have found their qualities make alpacas a very precious animal, whose breeding and management is undoubtedly going to be a very rewarding experience. We have spent many hours learning about these intriguing animals and hope to frequently update this site. We welcome you to join us in our journey of Alpaca farming....
