This is a real lucky last minute job for us. We're playing with Light of Words, starting at 9 (doors 7:30). Come along and support. A couple of debuts from our revised repetoire including 'Devils Walk' and the drop-D song.

£4 but only with flyer. Make sure you contact one of us before to get one because otherwise we don't get paid!

Band bio

    "Three schoolboys united by their passion for all music finally got their act together to form 'counterfire.' The core of their sound is rock, but with heavy funk influences and twists of prog and classic blues. Martin Arcari's grinding vocals and smooth guitar make the song while Ben Jones' thudding bass lines and George Hill's beats complete the sound. With a smattering of gigs including the Anson Rooms and headlining at the Croft they look forward to cracking Bristol."

About us

Our strengths as a band include a really varied sound; we play blues, funk, prog as well as being able to do loads of covers. Also being a three piece really helps, our instruments don't choke each other out, but our sound isn't so thin as to sound weak. As one person put it, "we play music, not noise"
