About me:  Born May 1st, 1953 (turning 50 VERY soon!) in Lafayette, Indiana.  I lived in that state and grew up in a divorced home until I was 12 years old.  We moved around a LOT.  I lived in Colorado for four years but have lived in Texas for most of my adult life.  I was married in 1976 and had two sons; Loren Michael and Jordan Marshall but divorced in 1989.  I graduated fourth in my class and won a scholarship as a Theology major and also worked in Human Resources management (17+ years) while also working as Minister of Music and Christian Educator in our local church.

I was infected with HIV in 1991.  It became a roller coaster ride of health and then sickness.  Today however I am doing great!  I keep a positive attitude because I realize that in actuality I am no more "terminal" than any other human being; you see NONE of us are promised a tomorrow.  My philosophy is simple; only GOD knows the number of our days!

My "talents" include writing (published poet and technical writing), music (songwriter, keyboardist, chorale conductor) and painting (sold my work in Texas and Missouri).  Interests range GREATLY from museums, art galleries and concerts to antiques, amusement parks and SHOPPING!

When I die I don't want to be remembered for my accomplishments, but how I loved those that I left behind......
