2008 Vans Warped Tour confirmed bands.

Accprding to websites such as Wikipedia.com and others have posted topics supposidly confirming many bands for this years Vans Warped Tour. There have been lists previously posted with eight-teen bands. The list I have found seems to be the most update and includes many more bands than the previous list. Here is the most updated list of the 2008 Warped Tour band lineup.

  August Burns Red is a Christian metalcore group from Lancaster, Pennsylvania. The band formed in March of 2003 and quickly started playing shows around Lancaster. In 2004, the band was signed to CI Records and released an EP called Looks Fragile After All. After about another year of playing shows, the band was signed to Solid State Records in 2005 and released Thrill Seeker on November 8th of that year. Their latest album, "Messengers", was released on June 19, 2007 and has gotten amazing responses. with tracks such as "Composure", "Back Burner", "The Eleventh Hour", and "Truth Of a Liar". They recently released a music video for the song "Composure" and it debuted on MTV2 Head Bangers Ball in early Janruary of 2008.

August Burns Red has toured with bands such as Unearth, Cassius, The Chariot, Bleeding Through, Walls of Jericho, Demiricous, Ligeia, Sinai Beach, Chasing Victory, The Showdown, Project 86, Haste the Day,Chiodos, The Number Twelve Looks Like You, Zao, Spoken, Inhale Exhale, Evergreen Terrace, Becoming the Archetype, Ringworm, See You Next Tuesday and As I Lay Dying. They will soon be playing the 2008 Take Action Tour alongside with Every Time I Die, The Bled, From First to Last, and The Human Abstract. Also a European Tour will be following the Take Action Tour. They also plan to play a few weeks of The Warped Tour, Cornerstone, and The Purple Door Festival this year.
