Welcome to Cordelia's Photography!
This website has simply been designed as a means to inform those lovely people who have given an animal a chance by adopting through a Rescue Organisation (large or small, private rescue or animal welfare org, or a pound) of a project that I am undertaking. Without you, the adoptive families who provide loving and dedicated homes for our animals, rescue would be even more heartbreaking that it can be.
From the sad and lonely animals we meet in the pound, the surrendered young ones who have never been taught how to behave, to the abandoned, abused and neglected... they have a story to tell. They have a message to give us and they have a lesson to teach all of us... that lesson is one of unconditional love, forgiveness and acceptance that we as humans, could all benefit from.
The aim of this project is to further educate the public about rescue animals and the wonderful companions they can become and how gorgeous they are in our eyes.
I would love ALL rescue groups to encourage their adoptive owners to take part in this project and show how gorgeous and loved their rescue animals are! This is a great opportunity to show off your pet/s AND assist in educating the wider community about the difference you made to the life of a rescue dog.
5% of profits from the eventual sale of this book will be distributed amongst rescue groups who have been nominated by owners who have had a photo shoot.
The further aim of this project is to inspire people to not just look at the animals, but to really 'see' them as individuals who needed a helping hand to find the right home with the right people and that help was found through Rescue.
