We were excited to learn that one of the wethers we bred placed FIRST and another placed SEVENTH in the carcas contest at the 2007 Kittitas County Fair.

Congratulations to the Waitsburg Corral Wranglers who all did such a great job at the Walla Walla Fair this year. Of the 4 kids in the ring for the 4H Champion Jr. Showman 3 were from the Waitsburg Club and Seth Deal won the Jr Grand Champion Showman.

Lisa out did herself this year, she gave birth to 5 good sized healthy kids. 4 buckling and 1 doeling 6-8 pounds each for a total of 35 lbs of kids. These kids are by Capriole's J. Breakdancer.

Overall Reserve Grand Champion Market Wether
This guy was the FFA Champion Market Wether. He then competed against the Champion and Reserve Champion Light, Mid and Heavy Weight 4H Market Wethers to be named the Over All Reserve Grand Champion Market Wether out of more than 30 wethers at this years fair. He is out of Rollin' Sage Katrina and by JH Bar Rick.
Reserve Champion All-Around FFA Showman - Charlee won the FFA Grand Champion Goat Showmanship and went on to the Round-Robin, where the Goat, Sheep, Hog and Beef showmen all compete by showing all 4 animals to 4 different judges. Charlee finished up her high school showmanship career with a respectable reserve all-around.

Another great wether by Lisa. This wether sold for $4.50 lbs at the sale.
All Around FFA Showman - Charlee won the Senior Champion FFA Goat Showman then the Grand Champion FFA Goat Showman. She then went on to compete in the round-robin with the FFA Champion Beef, Swine and Sheep Showman. Each kid shows their own animal then works their way around the ring showing the other 3 animals too. Charlee came out on top for the 2nd year. Way to go Charlee!
