What's a Clammy?
It's 2 hammocks sewn together at the corners & suspended in the middle so that it closes like a clam shell. Rats love them! They can hide inside & peek out when ever they want to see what's going on.
I started making Clammys because my rats were chewing their hammocks & getting between the layers. So I started thinking that if I could make a hammock that was covered with easy access & that closed on the sides, maybe I would have happier rats & less bedding destruction,
Rats are harsh teachers they tore them up until I got it right. I finally came up with a design that they love! As you can see they are quite content.
Clammys are made with fabric on the outside to please you & soft cuddly coordinating fleece inside to please your pet.
Try one for your pet. They will love you for it!
| The Cuffed Cozzy The fleece is sewn so that a small cuff is visible on the outside of the Cozzy. I did this primarily so that print fleece would be seen more prominently but it looks nice on print fabrics with solid fleece as well. This is available for most fabrics except Cozzys By the Yard because it does take more fleece. After I work with this for a while I may be able to offer it in Cozzy's by the yard. |
