Well I'm delighted to say that I have found a little girl hog to join my herd. It was a difficult process trying to find a hog that was not too closely related to Hufflepuff to breed as there is not a lot of new blood in the UK and therefore lines are limited. Also not everyone registers their hogs and it would be irresponsible to purchase a hog that was not registered as you would have no idea whether there were illnesses in the line or whether you were mating siblings.
Anyway all of that aside, I collect my female at the Weekend and am really looking forward to meeting her and getting to know her. The breeder is based in the middle of the UK and has spent a lot of time answering my questions and sending me photos of my hog to be! Speaking of which, below is the 1st photo I have of her.

She was born on 10th December 2007 and is reported to be very friendly, which I think is reflected in her willingness to be photographed above
I now have her home and below is the first photo I have taken of her, she has been fantastic this evening with very little huffing and even some cuddle time!
She is improving daily, check out more photos of her in the photos section. She's really chilled now and enjoys cuddling. She's a lot less active than Huff at the moment but I think that's just because she's a sleepy baby. She is eating well and growing up to be a very pretty, cuddly little lady who rarely puffs.
Well i've had Scarlet a couple of Months now and she is a lovely little hog with such a pretty face. She is quite shy, unlike Hufflepuff and prefers to be cuddled and sit on your lap than to be given a space to run around in when out of her cage. She still puffs on occassion but will happily let me clip her nails and inspect her as well as letting me give her cuddles.
