The "A" Litter was born on 31st May, 2004. Christenson's Kimba's first litter was sired by Bianco Spirit from Sunshine Kennels (located on the Sunshine Coast in Qld).
The litter of eleven consisted of: Coolabah Adonis Storm, Coolabah Apollo Storm, Coolabah Alpine Storm, Coolabah Atlas Storm, Coolabah Aztec Storm, Coolabah Apache Storm, Coolabah Aleka Mist, Coolabah Amity Mist, Coolabah Amber Mist, Coolabah Ally Mist and Coolabah Abbey Mist.
Coolabah's "B" Litter was born on 25th August, 2005 after a mating between Christenson's Kimba and Baron Sabor (owned by Tania Morris, Tamworth). Sabor was chosen for Kimba because of his playful nature and wonderful stature. He is truly a stunning boy!
The "B" litter consists of eight puppies: Coolabah Banjo Storm, Coolabah Beau Storm, Coolabah Balto Storm, Coolabah Breeze Mist, Coolabah Bella Mist, Coolabah Bronte Mist, Coolabah Bindi Mist and Coolabah Bunya Mist. All have glorious long, thick coats, except for Coolabah Bunya Mist, who is a short coat.
Coolabah's "C" Litter was very special, because it was Abbey's first. The litter resulting in 10 puppies, was sired by Cedargetters Malachi, owned by Peter and Lesleigh Fisk from Kyogle. We were so impressed by the quality of the puppies produced by this pairing, that we are repeating this mating (Abbey will be visiting Malachi in May, 2008, and produce the "I" Litter in early July).
The "C" Litter consists of: Coolabah Cedar Storm, Coolabah Cziga Storm, Coolabah Caesar Storm, Coolabah Cody Storm, Coolabah Cooper Storm, Coolabah Casper Storm, Coolabah Chole Mist, Coolabah Cassie Mist, Coolabah Champagne Mist and Coolabah Chelsea Mist.
Coolabah's "D" Litter was born on 29 August, 2006 after a mating between Christenson's Kimba and Cedargetter's Malachi. The exceptional quality of the puppies fathered by Malachi in the "C" Litter were the motivation for this pairing.
The "D" litter consisted of 10 puppies: Coolabah Detroit Storm, Coolabah DrZeuss Storm, Coolabah Dakota Mist, Coolabah Delta Mist, Coolabah Dasha Mist, Coolabah Delilah Mist, Coolabah Dusty Mist, Coolabah Diamond Mist, Coolabah Darcie Mist and Coolabah Destiny Mist.
Coolabah's "E" Litter was a first for our kennels - we had two litters at once for the first time!
Coolabah Abbey Mist and Alpinarc Apparitions were the proud parents of 9 puppies: Coolabah Echo Storm, Coolabah Everest Storm, Coolabah Elvis Storm, Coolabah Eskimo Storm, Coolabah Eureka Storm, Coolabah Eden Mist, Coolabah Elle Mist, Coolabah Envy Mist and Coolabah Ebony Mist.
Coolabah's "F" Litter was born on 25 March, 2007, one day after the "E" Litter! Having a total of 18 puppies certainly kept us on our toes, and ensuring that all these puppies received enough pats and cuddles required the assistance of lots of friends, family and puppy owners coming to visit!
The resulting 9 "F" Litter puppies are: Coolabah Forest Storm, Coolabah Flash Storm, Coolabah Fire Storm, Coolabah Flicker Storm, Coolabah Force Storm, Coolabah Freedom Mist, Coolabah Faolan Mist, Coolabah Fern Mist and Coolabah Feisty Mist.
The "G" Litter was the result of artificial insemination of Coolabah Bunya Mist ("Bundi") with frozen semen imported from the USA from Royal Damien Teen's Desire. The resulting 10 puppies have gone to their new homes and settled beautifully!
The "G" Litter are: Coolabah Goliath Storm, Coolabah Guinness Storm, Coolabah Ghost Storm, Coolabah Griffiths Storm, Coolabah Gorgeous Mist, Coolabah Gypsy Mist, Coolabah Gemini Mist, Coolabah Galaxy Mist, Coolabah Giselle Mist and Coolabah Glamour Girl Mist.
Coolabah Heavenly Mist was the very special puppy that resulted from the artificial insemination of Christenson's Kimba with frozen semen imported from USA from Tumbledown's Super Sonic.
Don't worry, Heavenly wasn't lonely - Kimba fostered the 4 male puppies from Bundi's litter (born a few days earlier), so she spent her first few weeks growing up as the younger 'sister' of 4 older 'brothers'! We are very, very proud of Heavenly - she was also the result of a caesarian (being pregnant with one puppy didn't produce enough hormones to send Kim into labour!).
