About Coolabah Kennels...

When Bruce and Katrina Mackenzie decided to start a family, our first addition was Jessie, a black and tan German Shepherd in January, 1992.  Brad, Scott and Robyn have grown up with Jessie (her name was Brad's first word!) and they now play a very active role in Coolabah Kennels. Sadly, Jesse passed away in 2007 at 16 years.

Our family first became interested in White Shepherds after watching a story on Burkes Backyard in 2001.  When we saw a litter advertised near Brisbane, we went to have a look, purchased Kimba and have been devoted White Swiss Shepherd owners ever since!  We now have 5 gorgeous whites (Kim, Abbey, Bundi, Digger and Ally) living with us on our 5 acre property in the western suburbs of Brisbane. 

Our love of White Swiss Shepherds has truly become a family affair - It started out primarily as an interest for Katrina (mum) and has quickly spread to Bruce (dad) and Brad (16), Scott (14) and Robyn (12). Our 'J' Litter has just arrived, and we are currently planning our 'K' and 'L' litters (check out our "puppies" page!).

We are proud to belong to The White Swiss Shepherd Dog Club of Australia Inc (WSSDCA).This Club is an independant organisation dedicated to the ongoing improvement of the White Shepherd breed in our country, whilst also remaining welcoming to families and their pets.
