It all started out at a friend house, I have went over to a friend house and she had the same kind of bird a Quaker parrot as well. It was my first time seeing those kind of birds. I was amazed when i saw the bird went to kiss my friend on command just then my heart melted and wanted an angel just like hers! (sadly her bird passed away after a few years) So i went running home excited and started to call the pet shops. some pet shops didn't carry quaker some were sold out and some were not ready to be sold. Just then i called Pet land a pet shop at at awater mall and they had a quaker. The next day I rushed to take a look at the Quakers. There was only 1 Quaker in the cage with other kind of birds. I went to pick it up she was little active one and would not let me touch her at first. She was the cutest little thing.  I had to buy it. At that point i didn't have $600.00 So i ended up lay way cookie giving deposits.  A few week pass and i was at the end paying off cookie. Thanks to my family that help me pay it off. I got the cage, LOTS of toys, food ect.. I took her home on Nov 6, 1999. I don't really know her Hatch day so as her birthday I always say Nov 6, 1999.                 

When i first  brought her home she was  very nippy was biting me all the time I couldn't even pick her up. It Really stressed me.  One point I was about to take her back to the pet shop. but my mom had told me it takes time and patient and it did. Gradely she bonded with me and ONLY me. We did everything together from sleeping, playing games, spying on cute boys hahaha and many more. At first I was thinking cookie was a male so i named her after COOKIE MOSTER but then on June 29,2005 she surprised me with an EGG on my desk.  ITS A GIRL!!!!!  Months pass I stated to clicker train her doing tricks like turn around, bow, put a ball in the basketball net, money in the piggy bank, learning colors, playing soccer, playing tic tac toe, fetching, Giving kisses, stand on back and many more things. She even started to talk hello, bye bye, maaaa, turn around, cookie look, what?,  Mmm and many more...  Her first word was Picka boo.  Cookie was the sweet bird she loved to be on my shoulder getting scritches from her mommy. she rather be with me then on her cage playing toys. She was never a picky eater she loved to eat apples, carrots, broccoli and many more. Her favorite treat was NUTREABERRYS! She go crazy for those. After all the fun day,  we lay down on my bed and sing her songs and she roll over and I rub her tummy. We did EVERYTHING TOGETHER. She is my baby girl, my angel!!!

Fun and happenes Years past...  Cookie was not well so I have took her to the vet, They check her and the vet found out she has plymonia They gave me medication which I try my best to make her better but then she got worst so i took her back to the vet.  Cookie had to stay to the vet so she can be nutrurd back. I went to see her the next day stayed with her she was not active very tired and sleepy. I had a feeling that that was not good news... The next day a TRAGIC CALL at 8:00am on June 13, 2006  the vet called and cookie passed away. I was VERY HEART BROKEN!!! It really hurts me and i miss my baby so much! There so much to this story that i have not added but as you can see she was my air that i breath we did everything together!!! Its hard to say good- bye!  I WILL ALWAYS REMEMBER YOU COOKIE!!!! MOMMY LOVES YOU VERY MUCH! MAY REST IN PEACE!
