OUR FAMILY HISTORY

Five Generations of the Rowe and Lomax Family
Dedicated to our Family History
I began this project in January 2005 whilst in Australia, caring for my mother. I had no idea what the website would be about, what it would contain or how it would grow even. Through Mom I was able to access and transfter many loved family photographs, and treasured documents of my father's whilst serving in the RAF during the Second World War in Burma and India. I have spent many enjoyable hours putting this together and seeing how it has developed. I have laughed with Mom when recalling events and seeing old photo's. I've scratched my head at times... and cried while opening my heart during the saddest time, when we lost Mom in June 2005. Now back in England, I will continue on with this journey... care to come with me?
So - this is a mixed bag I guess, with brief pieces of our history, and links to interesting people and places. I hope you enjoy reading through this journey as much as I have enjoyed putting it together.
