Brief outline of what has happened:

• We came to New Zealand in 1992 and bought the run-down motor camp in Seddon. Did it up and started cooking English meals for tourists.
• A few weeks after we bought the place the fields next door were turned into vineyards and right from the word go there was spraying going on, first for weeks. There was barely a day went by without chemicals spray drifting over us. The place was so mis-managed. 
• We had chemical spray over the kitchen where meals are prepared and eaten, t.v room, all over the house.
• In the bird-scaring season the police were always here, to investigate bullets flying, trespass by the vineyard workers with guns onto our property. Bullets flying over people and their property, it was very frightening, worse than hell.
• Doctors and Specialists have diagnosed us all as having pesticide poisoning, due to the mis-management of the vineyard.
• The owner of the vineyard says he doesn’t use pesticide.
• I have letters from his manager warning us of the days he is going to use pesticide and what he is going to use.
• We have been to three Prime Ministers. Ministers in parliament, lawyers, everyone you can think of.
• When my daughter Kylee was 7 she almost died due to the poison getting into her system. She was paralysed as the poison went through her body. She still has problems and has been told by the doctors that she will be in pain at least until she becomes an adult. She can not do sports, run or jump and join in playing with her friends. She is in constant pain.
• My other daughter Joanne has a heart murmur she did not have when we came here. We had to have strict medicals and all passed 100 per cent fit when we came here. Now we are always ill.
• Because we complain about this we are isolated here, as people here either work on the vineyards or have relatives who do.
• I have had two people try to run me and my children over three times, a man tried to attack me in my garage, another man came into my house and attacked me, his wife told my young children she would kill them. Signs are ripped up from the ground, property damaged and police have failed to act, because someone in the police station owns a vineyard, and so it goes on.
• Marlborough District Council, when we asked for help, opened up their own camp site so we can never open again.
• We came here in good faith and have spent $300,000 in New Zealand and can never hope to recover that, plus all the medical expenses, etc.
• Professor Glass told me years ago that the justice system in New Zealand is too corrupt for me ever to get justice done, and he was right.
• We are now penniless, ill and totally isolated.
