- Get permission to use the collage Design Technology department and equipment. -- Completed
- Get all 3d models of costume complete -- Completed
- Get team together -- Completed
Phase two: -- In progress
- Separate 3d model into each peace of armor and then save these as initial files, i.e. front armour, back armor etc -- Working on
- Convert each file to a CAD file which can be used with a CAM machine at collage -- Working on
- Test run -- Not started yet
Phase Three: -- Not started
- Create first prototype mold and tweak if necessary
- Source suitable, cost efficient material
- Keep prototyping until first full scale mold is ready.
Phase 4: -- Not started
- Create all the molds required -- Not started
- Produce 1 complete set of armour and test fit on multiple team members
- Complete touch up, i.e. no sharp edges and prepare for detail
- Produce more sets and repeat touch up procedure and detailing
By the way I will be uploading pictures of the cad models, molds, manufacturing and anything else that catches my eye, but hopefully not a flying peace of debris
