The Compass Leadership Academy program collaborates with elementary and middle schools to assist boys in achieveing their personal best.
Our MISSION is to equip youth with the personal skills needed to successfully navigate adolescence and empower them with the personal leadership skills needed to achieve more promising futures as servant-leaders in their families, communities and chosen professions.

| BASIC TRAINING PROGRAMBASIC (Boys Acquiring Skills for Improved Character TM) Training Program, is a school-based, group mentoring program that focuses on self-discipline, character education and personal goal setting. Classroom teachers nominate boys in grades 3-8 for participation in the BASIC Training program. COMPASS Mentors conduct weekly school visits where they facilitate the BASIC Training curriculum. Teachers continue to provide input on each cadet’s performance using the COMPASS Weekly Progress Reports. This feedback allows the Mentors to assist cadets in achieving a higher level of personal accountability: academically and socially. LEADERSHIP TRAINING PROGRAMCadets who have successfully completed BASIC Training can be nominated by their COMPASS Leadership Cadets attend the weekly
APPRENTICE TRAINING PROGRAMApprentice level cadets must submit an approved application packet to participate in the Apprentice Training Program. Apprentice Cadets are exposed to various career paths and business professionals who encourage them to start mapping plans for their future vocation and professional careers. Cadets participate in job shadow events as well as standard Compass academy sessions.
AMBASSADOR PROGRAMAmbassador level cadets serve as program leaders by coordinating youth-led service projects, seeking individual sponsorships and representing the program throughout the community. Ambassador Cadets attend the |
