The first column of keys of the alphabetic part of the keyboard is intended for the index finger, the second and third columns - for the middle finger (which is positioned over the central vertical line of the keyboard) and the fourth column – for the ring finger. The Space key is pressed by the index finger. The thumb is used for pressing key combinations.
