CAFA (Community Alliance For Action) is a group of citizens from the Meridian and Lauderdale County, Mississippi area who are concerned enough about our community to take action, and demand our officials be made accountable for the offices they were elected to serve.
We believe if the City and County Administration would allow abandoned homes and property to take a priority in clean up efforts, crime would plummet. These properties give drugs and burglaries an opportunity to be prevalent in our neighborhoods, rather than having them safe to live in. In order to do this, our ordinances must be enforced.
This neglect of enforced ordinances does not seem to be an issue with our elected officials, therefore, we as citizens must take a stand in order to make them aware. It is indeed, an important issue with us.
Join us in an effort to bring our neighborhoods, our homes, and our community back to being a safe place to live and work in. Without citizens being involved, we'll lose the place we call home.
