Youth Services Program

The community volunteers recognize the strength of the Youth Services program offered by the North Central Florida YMCA, especially the use of funds for scholarships. The volunteers were highly supportive of the efforts to bring "Y" programs to communities outside of Gainesville. The request for funding would have been stronger had the agency been able to clearly indicate how United Way funds would be directed toward those most in need or to youth in under-served areas.
