Pilot Parent Involvement Program (Gilchrist County School Board)

We felt that the concept of providing home visits to families participating in child care services was good, but we did not believe that this program had a proven track record to fund full implementation of $140,000 for 150 children in 10 classrooms. Instead, we recommend funding a pilot version of this program at $15,000 to determine how effective their home visitation and parent education opportunities will be.
