DELTA Youth Violence Prevention Program

The team of community volunteers was very impressed with this CDC-supported violence prevention program and expressed high regard for program staff. There was some concern that it was premature to expand the program to elementary schools when staff have yet to receive the findings from the outside evaluator that should yield insights as to which program components are likely to be most effective. It is the intent of volunteers that this funding support continued services for middle school children. We look forward to hearing the evaluator's findings next year.
