This volunteer team felt that need and urgency of this program in our community was well articulated, the target population was very clearly defined, and the program already has a great community presence and reputation. We were very impressed with turn-around this agency has seen in the past year due to new leadership For future years, we encourage this agency to incorporate data showing the difference in outcomes for clients participating in medical-model program vs. a non-medical-model program.
