 |
Jennifer Saunders...
Or Queen Jennifer as i like to call her, she was born on July 6th 1958 in Sleaford, Lincolnshire. She married Adrian Edmondson in 1985 and they have 3 daughters; Ella, Beattie and Freya. Jennifer is an amaaazingly talented British comedienne, actress and comedy writer. |
 |
Jennifer attended the Central School for Speech and Drama in London. There she met Dawn French in 1977 and the two performed together after graduation, working the festival, cabaret, and stand-up circuits. They were a central part of the alternative comedy scene in the early 1980s. It was around this time that both then worked with comedy troupe The Comic Strip, where they performed with many of the comedians who were to become their generation's leading comedy performers. She and French then created French & Saunders, a popular sketch comedy show for the BBC. |

Jennifer Saunders came to international attention for her sitcom Absolutely Fabulous, which she created, co-wrote, and in which she starred as irresponsible booze-hound Edina Monsoon.

Although the majority of Dawn French's career in television comedy has been alongside Jennifer Saunders, at the beginning of the 1990's they began to also branch off and work on individual projects. Jennifer created and starred in the critically acclaimed sitcom Absolutely Fabulous, while Dawn was offered the lead in comedy drama series Murder Most Horrid, and later the hit comedy by Richard Curtis; The Vicar of Dibley. Aside from these, Dawn has worked on a variety of advertising campaigns and is currently the face of television adverts for Terry's Chocolate Orange *yum!*

Peter Richardson and Nigel Planer
|
Right, Google has been no use to me what so ever, so I'm going to have to guess...
Peter Richardson, born somewhere between 1832 and 1982, male, two eyes, one nose, legs - three of those. Errrm, he's a director, writer, actor and a father of 3.
He started performing at London's Comedy Store in 1979, in a double act with Nigel Planer called "The Outer Limits". Richardson soon set up his own comedy club called The Comic Strip, taking with him a core group from The Comedy Store. At this point, various television companies were taking note of the rapidly growing "alternative comedy" scene, and Richardson was approached by Jeremy Isaacs to make a series of comedy films for Channel 4
