Table Information

Please use the following table measurements when considering your show string for the day.

18" wide x 72" (6 feet) long

I have room for 16 entrants in addition to the judges.

General Information

This show will not be a NAN quallifying show.  The idea behind this event is to have a laid back, fun environment where friends new and old can come together and show off their models.  Oh yeah, and maybe learn a bit on how the models are judged in their respective classes.

In addition to having the usual classes, my goal is to have one class from each halter/performance section broken down as a learning period.  Where the judge(s) will explain what they are looking for when it comes to a particular breed, performance, or custom halter class.

Procedure would be as follows:

  • Judge explains what they look for in a particular breed class (either CM, AR or OF)
  • Following the explanation the entrants (all of them, even if they have a horse in the arena) would then take a place card and write down their placings and initial their cards and deposit in a bucket.
  • Next, the judge would place the class and announce the placings.
  • Following this, we would compare the judges card to the entrants cards and see who was "correct" this time around (yes, all judging is speculative, but this is to be a learning and FUN show experience)
  • Whoever (it is not just limited to one "winner") hits the same placings as the judge would then receive a free raffle ticket as their "prize."
