Once upon a time there was a comedy course organised by Black Country Touring specifically targeting aspiring South Asian comedians. This course was led by Janice Connolly and supported by Shazia Mirza...
OUR STORY
Asian Invasion performed at Edinburgh Fringe 2008 for the 3rd year and received star reviews. Mahtab Khan (aka DJ Pupoo) from Birmingham's Unity FM launched his 2nd book, 'Is it coz I is a Muslim? - A collection of poetry 'n' tings'... A mosques tour follows with a post Ramadhan reading and book signing tour. Dharmander Singh did it again with new material from a '2nd generation Singh in the UK' perspective whilst Sajeela Kirshi's hilarious set showed concretely why she won that if.comedy award:)
