Wow, so it's kinda been awhile since I last updated this. The summer theme is kinda getting old huh? :D
Anyway, I promised I would be back during winter break, so here I am :)
Christmas was /amazing/. Can anyone say PHANTOMOFTHEOPERABBY? Yep. That's right.
We went to see Phantom of the Opera on Christmas Day, and like I mentioned above, it was superb. It's easy to know why it's one of the longest running shows. Needless to say, the singers were phenomenal. I've always been so jealous of sopranos who could hit those painfully high notes without breaking a sweat...like, I'll try that, and all you'll hear is some monkey choking or something. Pft.
But, what made the show so fantastic was the fact that it was so deep and dark. The Phantom was a bit freaky, but you just felt for him. & the ending, when he just...vanishes...was AMAZING. But I'm not going to give anything more away. Those of you who haven't seen it, put it on your ToDo list. Seriously.
The Sound of Music was on last night, and me, having never seen it before, was like OMGYES. Julie Andrews has a phenomenal voice, and the whole movie was just very heartwarming.
There was one scene that cracked me up though, the part where the father is telling the governess that he loves her ; he just sounded...so...robotic. Like it was almost painful watching him :D But it was still sweet nonetheless. What a great movie.
Anyway, we still have like a week (YEAHBBY) of FREEDOM left. I'm totally psyched. & my mother's not home this week, and so no. more. nagging. & my dad's busy painting the house. I feel like I'm in heaven. Can you say HOUSEMARATHON? Yep.

Okay, so guys, school has started and is selfishly calling my full attention. So I won't be able to do anything with this site until...winter break maybe? In a few months D;It sucks, I know...x.x

I don't think I've ever given enough credit to how amazing JK Rowling writes. She is absolutely the most outstanding author I have ever had the priveledge of reading and I am forever being changed by her words. I just finished rereading HP7 today, and the second time through was even more of a thrill than the first. I seriously cried bullets at the end of the book because everything was just so...right. Rowling has truly created a remarkable series that one will never forget. From the time Harry Potter is first introduced to us, he is just another boy, but one with an extraordinary history. But then by the time we get to the last book, the overwhelming fact that he is truly so much more is baffling. & then there is the tale of Snape, from crook nosed horror to a selfless courageous hero. Sure makes one feel regret for ever doubting him.
So anyway...now that I got that OMG-HARRY-POTTER-IS-AMAZING burst out of the way, I can move on to other things :)
Any of you guys ever see Friday the 13th? Of course the effect would be best on friday the 13th, but nonetheless, it's a pretty nicely made horror film. Just add a few kernels of popcorn, a nice warm blanket, and you will be ready to scream your little head off. Of course if you're the type to scream ; but I know I probably did it loud enough to wake up the whole neighborhood...anyway, let us pretend that did not happen though, k?
My mom bought me this ultra awesome chair for me yesterday. Well, if you consider it a chair...? It's kinda like...a ...pancake that you sit on...? Something like that.

On a more depressing note, the fact that I only have like 3 weeks left of summer break is finally sinking in. I swear, I don't think summer's ever gone this fast...o.o I must've blinked sometime...that's why there's this seemingly huge gaping hole of WHAT THE HECK HAPPENED TO SUMMER???
-sigh- 'tis very sad :(
But I also can't deny the fact that I'm excited for the new year ; seeing that I'm doing Driver's Ed. this year means I am one step closer to FREEDOM :)

Hey guys! So I'm back from vacation and OMG it was friggin' awesome. We went to this historical place, which surprisingly was pretty cool. It totally was like time traveling, I mean, they didn't even have STAMPS back then...and when I bought something, the lady was like, you're supposed to complain about the governors tax. And I was like...wow...;P
We also went to this Ripley's Museum place where they have all these wacky things that Ripley found on his journeys. There was this awesome pirate illusion place where one moment he was there, and the next, it was just miles of beach. I must've spent 5 minutes just staring at that thing...>.<
If any of you guys have ever been to Walt Disney World and went to Epicott, that's what the park place I went to next was like. It was all this awesome culture from around the world and they had some wicked roller coasters. Seriously fun.
The beach we went to was...simply beautiful. It was just...so...peaceful and...just wonderful. And they had this jacuzzi pool, need I say more?
So anyway, I'm back and I SO wanna go back...rawr.

LAST DAY OF CAMP!!! I'm kind of bittersweet about that though...all in all it was quite an amazing 5 weeks. The teacher was incredible and everyone was just so nice; it was just a wonderful experience. But I can't deny the fact that I'm glad it's finally over. Now I don't have to wake up at 7:00 each day...I can finally do some catching up on my beauty sleep >.<
So anyway, we had our last debate today. The topic was: Abortion on demand should, under all circumstances, be legal. My team of 4 was con, and the other group of 6 was pro. And if I must say so myself, we kicked major butt. It was so. much. fun. I absolutely loved it.
To end the semester, we had a barbeque. && to all those who have never tried the food there, some words of advice. Beware. It is possibly some of the worst cafeteria food I have ever set eyes upon, let alone eat. They have hotdogs...that do not look like hotdogs. They are severly disfigured and tastes like someone barfed it up and served it on a platter. Quite horrendous.

Any of you guys see Dark Knight yet? No? See it.
Yea, cuz basically, it's pretty amazing, and totally glue-your-eyes-to-the-screen type of movie. The actors are totally convincing and totally awesome at what they do. And plus, it's Batman. Come. On.
&& It was from this movie that I now have absolute favorite actor. He's friggin' awesome and totally...WOW. Presenting to you, my ladies and gentleman, is...-drumroll- Gary Oldman & Did I mention he's totally awesome? Plus, guess what else he played. SIRIUS BLACK in Harry Potter. And plus he's been in like, The Scarlet Letter, and played Dracula in Dracula. Now, you can't get more cool than playing in a Batman movie AND Harry Potter and all those other films. I mean, do you see George W. Bush playing in a Batman movie and Harry Potter? No. Cuz he ain't cool enough. But this dude, -points- is awesome. AWESOME. okay, I'll stop ranting now ;P
Needless to say, I've rediscovered my obsession with Harry Potter. JK Rowling, I love you girl! See, if you didn't write about the Potter bloke, people like Sirius and Lupin would never have existed. And what kind of world would THAT be? -shudders-
So yeah. I'm kinda bored right now...& there are like a billion clouds in the sky. That always seems to make me bored...?? Whatever.

I just met...the...nicest woman on the bus today. Almost the whole ride, we were doing Sodoku together. She had pulled out a Sudoku book when she got on, and I was like, ooh! Sudoku! And we spent the whole time working together. Well, she was kinda doing all the stuff cuz I'm...not...that...good at Sudoku. >.< But that's beyond the point...let's not talk 'bout that, k? ;P So, anyway, she gave me like...some puzzles from her book to take home, and she even offered me a really nice pen, but I was like, I can't take that from you. If she's reading this right now, I'll just like to say that, girl, you just totally made my day! That just really showed how there are still people out there who are just...so...nice. <3
So anyway, besides that wonderful encounter with that lady, I also had an amazing time at the college today. We were doing group activities and stuff to...sort of, get used to listening and concentrating for our debates. There was one game where we had to pass some items around and it goes something like this:
This is a pen - a what? - a pen - a what? - a pen! - oh! it's a pen!
and it goes on and on and on with each item. It was...so...hilarious. Fun >.<
& there was this other one called Press Conference, where as a class, we had to decide what this one kid was coming to the conference for. That was awesome ;P There was a kid who was this world famous ballerina who went to Australia to hunt kangaroos, and another where there was this bearded lady who escaped from the circus to get cast into a show as Repunzel (totally screwed that spelling up...;P), and like...stuff.
so...all in all, a wonderful day!

So, I finally got my lazy butt and started running again...'bout time too now Catherine...>.<
OMG. I saw the Avatar movie yesterday (yes I'm a dork, deal with it, k?) and...and...and...I am without words...WOW that was flippin' the best thing I've seen in a long long long time...-dies- Imma so gonna watch it again. I was looking it up on youtube today, because I missed the last few minutes of it, and THANK YOU IROOTNETWORK.ORG!!! You are now my very bestest friend. GAWD it's good...
anyway...I'm dying in history work right now...American history, such wonderfully entertaining stuff...-twitch- && we have to write an outline, and like...this "essay" thing too...bah, my no life status is gonna drop even lower ;P
So basically...that's all I've gotta say for now...gotta get back to reading about dead people ^^

heyy guys ^^ sorry I haven't posted in awhile; I've been quite busy the past few days.
anyway, happy first day of July!! 3 days till those fireworks ^^ & hopefully, if things go smoothly, a spankin' new video will be posted :)
Sunday, we went to this internal furnishing store place, and WOW it was one of the COOLEST places EVER. :o It had like everything and their display rooms were amazing! I got this dragon things which I proudly called Draco, you know, that guy from Harry Potter ^^. He's a spiffy dragon. booyea. & I finally got the 3 panel picture frame I've wanted for FOREVER. I could never find a decent one, either they were puny, or they didn't have the frame I wanted. Well, I am now fully acquainted with an awesome black framed-3 paneled-picture frame beauty. Only thing is...it doesn't seem to want me to put pictures in...it has these pictures that it comes with, and I guess you're not supposed to change them...o.o oh well, at least they're pretty...whatever.
I have rediscovered the deliciousness of funnel cakes. My, those things are LOADED with sugar, but MY those things are goooood. Simply godly. mmmmm.
This morning, I found this website stumbling: GaGirl.com Read some of the stories, they are so touching. Shucks, they made me cry.

-fans self- whew. it. is. getting. hot. wow, it's finally showing some signs of summer! how splendid.
anyway. I found out today that...this reallyyyy famous person graduated from the university I'm going to for the summer. WOW. That is so. totally. awesome!! & Imma not gonna say the name cuz then you guys will kinda know where I live...which is kinda sorta...freaky...o.o & Believe it or not, I'm actually looking forward to going to the school...there is definitely something messin' with my head...>.<
so yea. Today was orientation day for the summer class thing, and...NONE of the professors spoke english...they all had this really really thick accent and it was like, impossible to understand anything...let alone spend like a month in their class...-.-; But still, I think this is a great opportunity, cuz you get all this cool college credit, which means I won't be havin' to take those classes in college. -whew- It's so cool that I'll be on an actual college ground around...-dramatic pause- college peeps! Wow! And I get to walk around all mature and stuff and...GAH this is going to be a reallyyy awesome experience ^^

There is something /very/ rewarding about digging up those mischievious little midget monsters that call themselves...-shudders- weeds. It's lovely to hear that little *pop* as the little flower killers come outta the ground and straight into the garbage. So, after 3 hours of pulling and yanking with my mom and bro, our front yard is finally FINALLY finally weed free! -victory dance- Which means, in with those pretty flowers ^^ & my bro's pumpkin seeds are growing marvelously ; it's all just simply devoooon =D. Not to mention that water fight between a hose and a skimpy water gun xP & I had the hose, ahh, it was fun. -wink-
anyway, NEW LAYOUT ACOMIN'!!!!! I spent a good amount of time last night making this Carrie Underwood version and it shall be up in the next few days ^^ Check back soon :)

Whoever said that summer was icky definitely has not be acquainted with the sleep-late-and-wake-up-later rule. Gah this is THE life! Sleeping at 2 and waking up at 10, AND no crazy mom wondering how you'll survive in college if you wake up that late. booyea!
anyway...I'm doing this summer volunteer thing at the library. It's called Book Buddies, and basically, I sit down with a little kid and we read to each other. It sounds absolutely exciting and I can't wait...I think the amount of sleep I've been getting has been messing with my head...>.< Like being around my 6 year old brother isn't enough...psh.
So yea, this summer's basically been awesome so far and school hasn't even been out for a week...GAH I can't wait for the rest to unfold!
I have...so...much...summer work to do though...that definitely weighs down that "free as a bird" feeling of summer...but that's okay, I'll make it fun =]
I have to start running again though...bah, just can't drag myself up at 6 o clock to go jogging everyday =/ oh well, i'll come 'round

If you guys are EVER looking for a really good book to read, then I have the answer. It's one of those novels that keeps you reading way after you turn the last page, and not because there's a ton of action and physical movement, but because it's something that seems to be able to connect with each of us individually. It's an emotional movement, kind of sort of. But wow, the main character is someone who grows on you, and before you know it, you're rooting for her, you're sharing her pain, you're basking in her growth. Absolutely amazing, like it's just that one book that stays with you for a long time. It's definitely worth a comfy chair and a bag of popcorn. It just screams to be heard and read: Speak By: Laurie Halse Anderson

Wow, so I've realized that my upper body is in a desperate need of a workout...xP ahh, well that's what the summer's for. i just might do some running too, get in shape and stuff ^^
& i found the most AWESOME UFO book in the library. It has all like the "sightings" of "UFO's" and...wow. I don't think I believe in that kind of stuff, but the pictures sure makes you want to.

Well, it seems that the guys who created the stupid group finally realized that their actions actually have...*gasp* consequences. Funny. It took like 30 people to change their narrow minds. I just feel so proud to live amongst such children. So honored. What a good feeling it is to know that some people are just really THAT LOW.
They have officially made it to the Hall of Shame. My deepest congratulations to you all.
oh.mai.gawd. i just witnessed one of the most disgusting, childish, and obnoxious events ever. There's this group that was created on facebook. It's a hate group with one common goal, to damage some poor kid's self worth and dignity. what kind of bullshit is this? Seriously...some people need to get a life. they feel as if they're JUSTIFIED to do shit like this...o.o "It's for a good cause". WHAT IF THE FRIGGIN' GUY KILLS HIMSELF BECAUSE OF THIS? would it still be for a good cause? WTF.

So, it's summer time again, and I decided, let's reincarnate this website! yea...>.< So, first blog of 2008, here it comes!
OMG, it's the 19th...which means that tomorrow, THE 20TH, SCHOOL'S OUT!! booyea. now THAT is so totally awesome, cuz it just is.
The sad thing is, tomorrow's also the last day for the most AMAZING math teacher EVER EVER EVER :( Mr. Lamb, the funniest, the most caring, and the absolute downright BESTEST teacher ever...is...retiring...=/ gah, that sure dampens the atmosphere of 9th grade graduation...
