Losing Members

Okay i know its never fun to even talk about members who have gone on and graduated or couldnt do guard for some reason beyond your control... but i wanted to say something about all the guard members who are no longer on our squad that i had the oppertunity meeting!!

Debbie Taymen* debbie i love you and i miss you so much!! but i am so happy you are continuing with guard even though you are in college!! You were like a sister to me and i will NEVER EVER forget you!! you made gaurd worth while and fun!! you never were sad or said anything negative!! You were always there for me to make me laugh and have my back!! i cant wait to see you again!!!

Suzie Atkins* Suzie!! awe you are so beautiful!! im So glad i got to meet you!! you are amazing at guard and well everything you do!!! I really wish that i had gotton to know you better though!!! I miss you!!

Amanda* Srry hun i cant remember your last name!! It was awesome sharing a triangle with you last year!! too bad your knee wont let u do guard this year!! luv ya!!

The Karns High School Maching Band

2004-2005

Our show this year was Reflections! It was SO mcuh fun!! and i honestly dont know wat else to write about it because it was last year!! haha sorry

 

 

2005-2006

The show this year is called making ends meet!! we have THE CUTEST uniforms!! BUT we cant move in them!! uhh!!

 

 

 

You know you are in the Karns Band when...

1. When you are walking with your friends in the hall you are all in-step
2. On Friday nights, you go to applebee's with the entire band, take up half of the restraurant, drive the waiters crazy by moving to a different table every 5 minutes, and not leaving until midnight
3. You have never heard of an "open weekend" during marching season
4. You have a life, just its in band
5. You know the drumline only by their nicknames
6. A secret? whats that?
7. You know 140 people's names and can tell anyone who they are and what instrument they play
8. You get everyone you know that is in or has taken chemistry together and work on it
9. On Tuesday's and Thursday's you have band, no questions asked
10. You use cork grease for lip balm
11. You know the drumline's warm up and play it in class
12. You are often caught singing the show tunes in class, and not just your part
13. something happens, the whole band finds out.. there's one word for it all, drama!
14. whenever you hear clapping you automatically think you are supposed to get quiet and go to set!
15. What happens on the Karns bus, STAYS on the Karns bus!
16. Two Words: Dr. Beat
17. When going to a band competition is fun, in more ways than one!


About Me!!!
 **So thank you so much for Visiting my website!! Anyways my name is Kelsey and Im on the SABRE LINE of the Karns High School Colorguard!! Not to be mean or anything.. but our band isnt the best.. But we have SSSSSSSSSSOOOOOoo much fun together! However.. the guard is pretty awesome! In winterguard we placed 2nd at a competiotion our school hosted.. and have placed 3rd at a competition at Virginia High, And we have placed 1st at 2 other competitions!! So when we went to Championships in April we placed 5th in Novice AA! Out of like 16 other Guards!! YAY!! SO yeah i have a boyfriend named DENNIS and i love him lots!! And hes in the band.. plays the trumpet but marches the mellophone so we get to be together ALOT!! Which is GREAT!! LOL!!
