I already expanded Colorguard Central once, but I still couldn't fit everything I had... so here is the third (and final!) part of Colorguard Central. If you have gotten to this part first, I highly encourage you to check out the first part of the site and then the second part. Someone of Colorguard Stature

Do you know someone who is of colorguard stature?
Someone who lives for a few moments in a lifetime
Who knows that those moments are what makes that life shine
Someone who will push themselves
Who will work a million hours to perfect a few minutes
Who will twist and scar their bodies for the sake of grace
Who will spend their nights on gym floors and on buses
too worn and tired to even notice how uncomfortable it is
Who loves to sweat, strain and bake under the summer sun
and the gym ceiling lights
Who ignores their jammed fingers and wretched backs
Who takes blows from their equipment and keep doing it over again
Who isn't afraid to try
Someone who loves to perform
Who would trade anything to be on the floor at the start of a show
Who loves the smile of a judge and the gasp of a fan
Who lives in the pulse of a melody and bends to the will of a song
Who can tell a story with their expression and embody and entire emotion
Who can transform into a whole new person but keep their mind in tact
Who sings with colors
Who speaks in gestures
Who knows that winning the hearts of the crowd
is more important than winning a medal
Someone who is a part of something larger
Who takes away the self and trades it for the team
Who is there for anyone at anytime in need
Who can laugh at things that make no sense
Who can laugh at themselves without losing their pride
Who cherishes friendships, even if they only last a season
Who will give up their identities for something they can't explain to others
Who plays their part without needing to know why
Someone who lives for those few moments in a life time
And knows that those moments are what makes that life shine.
