Kenos Red Hot Gypsy is Sorrel Tovero with partial blue eyes

born April 2, 2002

This young guy has had first 60 days of training put on him. Needs experienced handler to finish him out. He is green. Round pen work is great. Last ride he took was a twelve mile ride. Did Super! He is young and by that i mean he is still unsure of things. He has to build up trust with you. He has been started using very soft mouth. Has only been boxed reined only. Gypsy as we call him needs a job. Could be a nice Stallion for breeding program after you finish him up or would make a very awesome gelding. His grandpa Slicks Left Prints has Superior in heading, Roms in heeling and steer stopping. Has others on and off papers who have winnings in Running, reining, Halter and cutting. He has alot of potential. If there is any thing you want to know please feel free to ask. He is UTD on shots, worming, and farrier. If you are seriously interested in him i would be willing to talk with you and work something out. email me for more pics! Gypsy is straight and correct. Short body medium build would make a very stout boy for riding in the mountains or such. At this time he stands between 14.2 and 14.3 hands high. He has a gorgeous head also. Only reason i am selling him is we just realize that it takes alot more devotion, knowledge to be a successful breeder. He has not covered a mare yet so you still have time with him if you decided to geld him or keep him as a stud. He is just starting to realize he is a boy and does show it occasionally. Nothing to worry about in any way. We don't have the time to devote to showing him or any of that. On a scale of one to Ten i would say as far as tempermant he is on the low side maybe 3 or 4. Husband does not have much knowledge as a horseman and i was away from horses for 5 years. With that in mind i nor my husband have ever bred or raised horses in this way. Gypsy deserves a devoted loyal friend to show him the way. Are you that person? He has been stalled and hasnt been on field so that would be a transition to take into consideration. He was also in stalls that had electric surrounding inner area at the trainers so he does know what electric fence is. "just dont leave it off he will chew it up" He has a gorgeous color and an overall nice conformation.

I hate to see him waste away at our place and right now thats what is happening. Please if you know anyone that would be interested in him let them know.. I am selling him for 2000.00 that is below what we have paid for him ourselves and put into him in training. I might be persuaded to come off that price but not too much. I personally think he is a beauty and might make a nice stud but i also believe he would make a terrific gelding. Trainer told us he thought he was low key for stud but would be even lower key as gelding. Barrells,poles???? possibilities are endless. we are located in Durango Colorado. get in touch over this site then i will make other arrangements for us to talk out side of here. He is current on everything. He has come such a long way for a 2 yr old considering he had never been touched until we bought him. So it was all the ground work for us too.
