Junior Counselor Applications

We know that attending Girls State is an unforgettable experience for our delegates and that many of you are anxious to return to help the Girls State class of 2010.

Please review the attached Junior Counselor Application Information and submit all the requested information at your first opportunity.  It's true the deadline isn't until December 31, 2009, but we realize you are entering the busiest and most exciting year of your high school careers. This is your opportunity to get this task completed before your Senior year.

Your completed application or any questions can be directed to 2010 Director, Darcee Barber at colorado.girls.state@gmail.com.

A possible problem with your disk

UPDATE:  We are posting information from your disks on the Friday, June 19 web page.

We have been informed that some of the DVD's sent home with information for our delegates may not be functioning properly.  You are encouraged first to verify that you are inserting the disk into a DVD player versus CD.   If the disk still does not work it may be that your computer is not compatible with the one which created the Master File from which all the other disks were created.

We are taking steps to provide the materials from the disk to you on this website.  They include a raw version of your city photo (already shown on our Tuesday, June 16 page), a copy of your "fun pose" city picture and a labeled copy of your city picture.  In additional we will be providing copies of all the city Columbine Leaf Newspapers.  Finally, you will have access to the delegate list on a password protected page.

We apologize for any inconvenience this technical issue may cause.  If you have any additional questions, please e-mail them to our Web Master and reference Girls State Disk as your subject matter.
