collyferret "Up in Smoke" Pyrography

These first few photos were taken late in the autumn of 2007 so i didn't get very many and none of the actual flutterbies.

This season I'm going to plant a lot more swan plants (Asclepias Physocarpa), along with The giant swan plant (Gomphocarpus Physocarpus) and Blood Flower (Asclepias Curassavica).

 I 'll plant a budlia as i've heard they aslo like the budlia and a sellection of seeds simply called butterfly Garden. A mixture of annual and perennial wildfowers specially formulated for butterfly conservation to attract the butterflies to these sourses of nectar.

 These include, english marigold, mixed cornflower,siberian wallflower, forget me not, candytuft, plains coreopsis & tickseed, sweet william, rocket larkspur, african daisy, purple coneflower, toadflax, blue flax, sweet alyssum, black eyed susan, crimson clover, and nasturtium.

If anyone can help with the names of any other plants the monarch or other butterflies like please don't hesitate to let me know at collyferret@iconz.co.nz . Also any advice anyone can give me to put up on this site about the monarch butterfly would also be appreciated. Thank you.
