Upcoming Projects and Books

I have been working on a series I call Canterville, a fictitious New England town located on the east coast of the U.S.   A typical New England town where not much happens, where residents can pretty much expect uncomplicated lives to remain as such.  But as anyone knows not just the big urban areas harbor stories of dark tales.  Tales that breed fears in the minds of law-abiding citizens.

This idea came to me one day thinking about my own town, which is a quiet relatively safe, certainly an uncomplicated place to live considering I've live here for over thirty years.

Yet, horrible things do happen in any town  Unspeakable acts occur that have us ensuring our doors are kept locked.

The original owners of my house lost a young child to such unspeakable acts at the hands of a crazed killer.     Someday I hope to do more research on that crime, and learn the details on how it was solved  for her killer was apprehended and justice was served.

Meanwhile I concentrate on my Canterville Project.

While writing this book I took classes in Criminal Justice, specifically to learn about forensic science.  I am an avid fan of the CSI shows.  I find it fascinating that a crime committed in the past can leave enough clues behind that it can tell its own story as long as someone listens.

I did a paper for one of my classes (Criminology) where I researched the double murders of Nicole Brown Simpson and Ronald Goldman.  Since then careful documentation in processing similar acts of violence is carefully made to avoid mistakes that were made during the processing of that particular crime that involved the murder of two innocent victims.

I have tried to incorporate this process within the pages of my story at the same time create characters that are believable as well as credible.

Writing is pretty much the act of opening a vein, and then letting it flow.  This is what is required to produce a story with not only depth but sustenance.  Anything short of that then produces a story that can fall short of its goal, which is to entertain the reader.

Throughout my Canterville books I have and will continue to try and deliver such compelling and riveting stories as I create unforgettable characters.

I'm currently working on a second and third forensic thriller titled Canterville II: DEADLY SECRETS as well as Canterville III: THE DEAD LIVE.

This is a community I have created in my mind and has become as real to me as the neighborhood that surrounds me.  And yes, indeed, every community has its own dark tale to tell.

Warning:  Canterville Stories are not for the faint of heart!
