Sunday 14th August 2005:
Wessex Transport Society's fourth 'Festival Of Transport'.
Avon Heath Country Park, A31, Near Ringwood, Hants.
Avon Heath Country Park has woodland walks, the Avon Forest Café, picnic areas and excellent facilities. Past and present transport vehicles will gather here including static displays of buses, commercial vehicles, cars and motorcycles. New and vintage buses will operate scheduled free public services to scenic and transport related destinations.
Supported by Go-Ahead Wilts & Dorset
Programme by post: £3.00 include size A5 stamped sae.
Restricted parking at site. Avoid parking disappointment - continuous shuttle buses will operate from large Ringwood car parks and feeder services will be available.

14/7/03 - Uploaded the whole site to a different hosting service, this means there are no annoying Ads now. Now all i need to do is get it more up-to-date ...

I hope to be able to find the time to upload more in the near future ...

Hopefully the links to and on those pages should all be working OK now. I have tried to test them, but if you find any "Dead links", please let me know ...

31/10/02 - Due to further ISP problems, you might be aware that "colins-place.co.uk" is no longer available.

It has been replaced by THIS site, http://www.colins-place.com/buses

Also I have been busy with other projects, but plan to do some work on getting this site back up to date, and adding some new pictures Etc. As part of this redesign, some of the companies covered might have to be dropped, as it has all gotten a little too large to manage. If this the case i will still keep the information already here, but move it to archive pages ...

26/06/01 - Revised and updated various pages.

16/06/01 - Revised and updated the Yellow Buses (Bournemouth Transport) pages, picture galleries Etc. I will add some more pictures in due course.

31/05/01 - I have revised and updated the Wilts & Dorset pages, in particular the Picture Galleries. I have added lots of pictures, rescanned some of the old ones Etc.

25/05/01 - I have updated the Bournemouth Transport and Wilts & Dorset lists. Also added subsequent movement lists to most of the Companies, they are "work in progress" though, so they are VERY incomplete. Any comments, suggestions, or corrections would be most welcome.

22/05/01 - I added a gallery of pictures by Stuart Saunders. Mostly views of Bournemouth Transport Vehicles, it also includes some of the former Whippet vehicles
