Southampton City Transport Ltd was renamed First Hampshire Ltd,
on 1st April 1999.
At the same time the fleet of Provincial Bus Company Ltd was transferred
to the new First Hampshire.
The fleets were renumbered into a common sequence.
The legal address remained at 226 Portswood Road, Southampton SO17 2BE
