In 1999,  Colin joined fellow Doctor's Peter Davison and Sylvester McCoy appearing in the (then) new range of Doctor Who audio adventures beginning with the multi Doctor story "The Sirens Of Time".        The releases marked a whole new lease of life for the classic series Doctors,  which resulted in Colin being voted Best Actor in a poll of fans for Doctor Who Magazine.        The Sixth Doctor has even gained a brand new companion in the form of history lecturer Dr. Evelyn Smythe,  played by Maggie Stables.       His television companions Nicola Bryant (Peri Brown) and Bonnie Langford (Melanie Bush) have also been heard alongside Colin in these exciting CDs.
