this long overdue update will be opened with the news that the untitled e.p is finished!has been now for some months. the response had been fantastic!thanks to everyone who bought a copy! within the last week cold turkey have played two home town gigs,with several out of town venues lined up!again thanks for the support!

the dates for the recording are set! we will be recording our debt e.p entitled "tales from the trails" on the 27th, 28th and 29th of July 2005. We are hoping that the e.p will have eight songs, with a real variation of styles. a couple to look out for - living knowing none, fair dinkhum and a new version of fan favourite 01:40. we are also currently working on a new and improved website and planning some shows to surround the release of the e.p.

just thought id bring you up to speed. after a few talks within the band we have decided to record the ep in two separate sessions! this will mean that the release date will be slightly later than what we had wished, but we feel that the finished product will be of a higher standard. we currently have around seven songs, few of which are still progressing, ready to be recorded with a nice variation of sounds and styles.
we plan to spend quite some time over the forthcoming weeks on lyrics alone. many basic ideas are down, but we intend to make this our most personal record to date.
we are all excited, not only about this record, but also the future of this band.

well its now march, we still don't have a date for the new cd, but we have started to demo some of the new tracks that will more than likely end up on the ep. by may we hope to have the majority of the songs recorded if not all. it will then be ready for the shows we have planned for over the spring/summer months. we have decided again to travel to rain studio, leicestershire as we were pleased with the work that mark du'plessis did on our previous cd, punk etc.

new cd for the summer
thats right the debut ep, "who changed this time" will be recorded between Feb and May and will include 5 new songs, two new versions of old Cold Turkey songs and maybe a fucked up cover of a cure song. As you know, its been a while since you heard from us...but we're back and ready to go! as for the sound...well its interesting....compared to the single, 'punk etc.'. if you remember this two track had probably the two most two diverse songs possible. if anything the new ep, aims more in the direction of "01:40"! enjoy
