About joining the band
The colchester scout band has been running for just over 30 years and has had many member in those years. The band meets every Tuesday night from 6.30 till 8.30, except in the summer and christmas holidays. We also have engagements throughout the year, which memebers of the band must participate in, if they wish to stay in the band. It cost £40 a year to join the band, which is paid £10 every term, (a bit like subs), This price includes all tuition, uniform and instrument hire, (you get to keep the instrument, take it home and school).
If you would like to join the band you must be at least 8 years of age and must be a member of the scout association.
