* The diaries will be in her sister’s new tell-all book. Anna’s
mother Vergie Arthur keeps on saying how she would have tried
everything to get Anna off of drugs. But even the book says how
Anna and her mother back then were heavy partiers and drank
together. So her mother would beat her and allow her husbands to
abuse Anna. Then when Anna got a bit older she drank and partied
with her daughter. The problem wasn’t drugs or Howard K. Stern.
The problem has always been her mother from the very beginning.
And it’s also very clear that her mother IS making money from
Anna’s death though she insists she isn’t making any money at all.

February 28, 2007 — I have just seen Anna Nicole Smith’s di aries. I
held them in my hands. They encompass 1992-1994. One simple in
expensive booklet said: “Vickie Smith, Do Not Read.” One was a
purse-size spiral notebook with blue-lined pages. One was inscribed
“Guess Jeans.”
I leafed through a brown leatherette book stamped “Business Cards”
that held her Vickie Lynn Smith driver’s license in Texas. I rifled
through canceled checks and receipts, like for a Bloomingdale’s
$16,954.66 Chanel watch. Hubby Howie Marshall was no cheapo.
I actually sat in on the bargaining to include a couple of handwritten
pages in her sister Donna Hogan’s upcoming tell-all “Train Wreck.” I
was in on its authentication process. I was in on the signing of the
confidential nondisclosure agreement.
It happened Friday afternoon. Phoenix Books’ Michael Viner, who’s
publishing “Train Wreck” April 10, rang me in Los Angeles. “Two guys
just called,” he said. “I don’t know them. I don’t know even if
they’re legit. But they say they have Anna Nicole’s diaries. They’re
looking to sell them. They’re coming over in 15 minutes. Want to sit
in?” His office is across the street from my Beverly Wilshire Hotel. I
was there in 14 minutes.
The guys, Steven Woolf and Thomas Riccio, represent
UniversalRarities.com, which may even put these up for auction. They
came by the stuff when a Hollywood memorabilia dealer bought the load
years ago for zero money after they were discarded someplace and when
Anna was not yet a big deal. He stuck it away and, suddenly, son
Daniel dies and it’s front-page and he goes squirreling away in his
files.
The provenance is guaranteed by Southern California’s “Global
Authentication Inc.,” which examines Hollywood treasures for
authentication in worldwide high-profile auction sales.
It shows her drug life as a kid. Her doing pills as a kid. She was
sure close with Virgie Arthur in those days, and mama was not what
you’d call one of the all-time best role models in captivity. We’re
talking heavy-duty partying together. Drinking together. Her mother’s
phone numbers are scribbled in pencil inside the back flap of one
book.
With her handwriting misspellings - “namonia” for “pneumonia,”
“emigrant” for “immigrant,” “nos” for “knows” - the diaries tell her
feelings about sex, and who was her best lover. They reveal Anna’s
thoughts about her many vices - men, alcohol, sleeping pills,
psychiatric medication. And in Operation Dèjà Vu, they address the
subject of how many men could have been the father of her pregnancy
scare while she was Mrs. Howard Marshall.
The Phoenix book was going to press that day. Negotiations went on to
include several pages - exclusive until “Train Wreck” comes out. The
sellers wanted nonexclusive. Michael Viner demanded exclusivity. Donna
Hogan’s co-author Henrietta Tiefenthaler picked the pages. Then the
production person said these couldn’t be inserted at this late date.
Phone calls were made. The pages, actual photocopies of her
handwritten diary, will make the book. Five of them. The cache is very
telling. In the old-fashioned days of news reporting, they’d call it
hot stuff.
At one point she writes of husband Howard Marshall: “I love him so
much.” At another it’s: “I need some support, and I just don’t have
any. But I have Jesus.”
Barring that, these pages will do nothing to reclaim Anna’s
reputation. They only underscore “Train Wreck” ’s tale of
self-destruction, mental issues, drug abuse, sleeping with her
trainer, sleeping even with probably some of you Out There reading
this. They and the personal never-before-seen photos will not enrich
the family’s next trailer park reunion.
As we speak, an offshore gambling site, The Golden Palace, has paid
$100,000 for a 5 percent interest in what’s now being called The Lost
Diaries.
And while we’re on Follow the Money: Anyone wonder who’s footing mama
Virgie’s bills? Mama Virgie can’t even spring for her own bar tabs, so
how’s she flying to Florida and staying over and the Bahamas and
staying over and packing along $500-an-hour attorneys who eat three
meals a day? That whole cast of characters fighting for her bones and
her kid and her money, none - without Anna - have a buck and a half to
rub together.
It’s look to the media, kiddies. Everybody’s doing this on the come.
It’s sell a book, sell photos, sell secrets. A British news agency is
footing Virgie’s bills. The agency is also bidding on The Lost
Diaries. Everybody will now make a buck off Anna. Why should it just
be Howard K. Stern?
Even an old boyfriend - and there’s plenty of those - crept out of the
woodwork to claim Anna died of lupus. “Entertainment Tonight” is
following that little nugget with the world’s foremost specialist in
that disease, Dr. Robert Lahita. And why must the players in this
drama all have three names - Anna Nicole Smith, Howard K. Stern, Dr.
Robert . . . ?
Anyway, with deep pockets behind Virgie’s lawyers, look for her to
continue the fight - in the Bahamas - to get control of the body of
that daughter with whom she drank. . . . . .Source: New York Post

Anna’s so called mother should not be allowed within twenty
thousand miles of that baby so she cannot inflict the alleged
physical and emotional abuse that Anna endured. She is just
looking for some easy money and her 15 minutes of fame. Now I
understand why Anna said everyone in her life stabbed her in the
back but Daniel. That is some family support system. They just
wait until your dead and circle like the vultures they are. If
they had any morals or decency at all, they would let Anna and
Daniel rest in peace. I pray Dannielynn will be with the person
who loves her and wants her (not for the money) I hope no one is
able to touch that money except Dannielynn at the age of 21.
