My name is Paul Welle-Owner/operator of Coastal Hook "R"s Guide Service. I've lived in Tillamook my entire life. Over the years, I have perfected my river fishing for salmon and steelhead out of a 17 ft. dirftboat. I know all the coastal rivers, top to bottom, focusing on the Trask, Wilson, Kilchis, and Nestucca. When in the lower rivers, bays, and ocean, I fish out of my 22' sled, focusing on salmon, sturgeon, and bottom fish.
I have volunteered my services to the North Coast Salmon Rendezvous, guiding anglers, such as Chuck Yeager, and many others who participate in this fundraising event. I have received second and third place guide's finish and helped anglers to 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place finishes.
I also provide birding and estuary tours exploring the flora and fauna of the area, along with natural history about farming, logging, and flooding of our area.
I provide all the finest bait, rods, tackle, and equipment for your day on the water except your license, lunch, and rain gear
