We welcome you to the CNY Website. CNY stands for Corona-Norco YMCA. We also now going by CND which stands for Corona-Norco Delegation. This delegation is pretty new to the Youth & Government program. All of the current delegates are 1st timers to the program. In recent years their have only been 2 delegates. Aaron Hake our lead advisor visited numerous high school AVID classes to try to get new students into the program. He successd very much so, from all the avid classes he visited he caught the eye of 32 soon to be delegates. Over half of the delegates currently go to Santiago High School, 2 go to Norco High School, 2 go to Corona High School and 1 for John F kennedy Middle College High School. We have been meeting on Thrusday nights at the Home Gardens Library off of Niece Street.
"Democracy must be learned by each generation" this is the YMCA's Youth and Government motto.As a part of the Youth and Government program this motto motivates us and young adults to pass the word around about Youth and Government. The Corona - Norco YMCA delegation is a delegation looking forward to heading to Sacramento to pass a formal bill that would be debted on and passed into legislature. The small problem that our delegation has is MONEY! We are asking Business Owners and Citizens of both Corona and Norco to consider making a TAX DEDICUCTIBLE contribution to help with our finance to the State Capitol in Feburary.
