HEALTHY INDOORS PARTNERSHIPS

The Healthy Indoors Partnership (HIP) is a not-for-profit organization that catalyzes action on Canadian indoor environmental issues through multi-stakeholder collaboration. We connect people, ideas and resources from government, industry, educational and research institutions, and public
interest groups to collaborate on common indoor environmental health issues. Together, we are accomplishing more than any of our members could alone.

HIP has been built with the extensive involvement of our partners. The result is a business model that recognizes that real and lasting change will require participation by all sectors, real incentives for action, and the incorporation of market principles.

HIP has three main areas of focus: the consolidation and integration of research, the promotion of guidelines and best practices , and the fostering of related  education and outreach programs.

In addition, we offer monthly webinars on topical IEQ issues and a free newsletter to help you stay up-to-date on indoor environmental issues in Canada. We also maintain a clearinghouse of information and resources, and a list of conferences and other events

We offer a range of opportunities for businesses, governments and non-government organizations to work together, for mutual benefit, to create healthier indoor environments.  We also offer a range of communication vehicles for reaching consumers and industry professionals with an interest in healthier indoor environments. These include our Healthy Home Magazine, Buyers' Guides, newsletter and  webinar series.

We welcome new members, encourage active involvement and provide various levels of sponsorship opportunities. To find out more about joining, see our membership section.
